I don't claim to be a great writer. I think I could manage to do a little better than this bit of journalism that was part of the October E-newsletter from the Association of Former Students.
From the paragraph about the women's soccer team recently clinching another Big 12 title:
"Texas A&M has now won nine Big 12 championships -- more than anyone else in the conference's 10-year history."
Profound stuff. Nevermind that this is the eleventh season of the Big 12.
