Treat terrorists as pirates (and a plug for Crypto-gram)

While reading through a monthly security newsletter I came across this article proposing that terrorists be considered pirates in order to better prosecute them under international law. Not an area I have any expertise in, but an interesting read.

Crypto-gram is written by Bruce Schneier, a computer security consultant, so topics tend to be more for the nerds, but he covers a lot of everyday security topics that affect us all. The newsletter is always long, and usually provides me with several days of reading material. Most of it scares the heck out of me, sure, but I'll deal with it.
