Fall has arrived in Aggieland

It is official, the worst of the hot weather is behind us. A couple months of fine football weather are in store now. The first cold front of the season has worked its way into the Brazos Valley. Yesterday's high was 103. The forecast high for today is 83. Hooray for not melting the second I step out the door!

High and Dry in College Station

Rita has passed far enough to the east that it didn't rain at all in College Station. Just a really windy day as we have around 30mph winds as the storm goes by. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those folks in Orange, Beaumont and areas east of here that are getting pounded.
